Notes

vdB 123 is one of many reflection nebulae in the constellation Serpens. These reflection nebulea are embedded in a dark cloud known as Serpens Cloud. The vast dark cloud overlies the rich star field of the Serpens Milky Way (my image shows only a very small part of the Serpens Cloud).
